what? you dont touch the bar down on deads and in the part two of this video you dont touch the bar to your chest when benching? wtf haha
no lift for 45-60mins doing deadlifts, ATG Squats, barbell rows, standing shuolder presses, flat bench presses etc then hit cardio for 30mins. ab stuff isnt cardio.
in the second part video, bench push up there is
(For people who only want to gain muscle seriously)
Hey check my videos out to help you get that body you want
steroids im teling you it works
regarding the whole burning up glycogen after 30 min… if i lift for 30 min and then do some ab stuff, like curls and planks for another 10 min is that ok?
i’m surprised pushups weren’t here
sorry man, but i have another question do i do to 2 sets of every other exercise as well. you said do 2 sets of dead lifts bent over rows and squats
ps im trying to bulk up
hey instead of the clean and press do you think i could do a military press
Nah, if your looking to build muscle, your training session really shouldnt last any longer than 30 minutes tops. But with a warm up, yea it should last around 40-45 minutes. And sure you have to lift heavy weights, but not to heavy – your movements/lifts have to be fluid and natural movements, if your struggling and movement is slow and jerky its not gonna do good. Your have to work your muscles hard and fast.
Peace
If i work out my chest and triceps half hour each is that still too much?
I would advise playing with the weights to see what is your ten rep max remember the last 2 reps should be hard but done with good form, its just something you will have to work out .
But if you know your one rep max then you work it out from that so e.g, 100kg 1 rep max take 10% off and add 2 reps might be something to try.
it is said around 45 min of heavy weights is enough because of your glycogen being used up, so with warm up ect 1hour is really as much time as you need in the gym if you are trying to build muscle.
as many as you can do then round it of to the near’es 5
Divide the 7 exercises into a 2 day routine with one day of rest between each workout. Always do abs in your routine, basically your workout should have 4 exercises each day. Do 5 sets or 5 reps at maximum weight.
I’m tired of my old routine and I’m going to try this one, but I’m not for sure how many reps or sets I should do. Any tips?
Thanks for the tips dude, good stuff.
It’s for weights. As you lift heavy your body is depleted of glycogen which is the carb stores in your muscles. As time goes on and those reserves are all used up, your body turn to muscle mass for fuel. So keep the lifting short and if your looking to burn fat short high intensity intervals of cardio (20 min. total) is great after lifting since your body has nothing left to burn but fat.
Good advice,
but what if you do weight training and cardio in the same session (i.e. intervals on the treadmill)?
Does the cardio still count toward your overall time in the gym, or is what you say above for weights only?
I’de have to say no longer than an hour. But your best bet before lactic acid builds up is 45 min. Sometimes the shorter workout is the best one. It causes you to focus more on what you’re doing instead of being another one of those guys chattin’ it up. Keep it short and intense.
how long in the gym is too long? before you muscles start getting eaten?
yeah vince is too sexy.. why wont he work out shirtless?? hehe
mmmm
Have you all heard of isometrics? I just read up about it and boy you should read the article cos it just overthrows traditional weightlifting.
The link is in my channel cos i can’t post a link here for some reason. If you’re interested just go take a look =)
i agree i rotate power cleans with deadlifts everyother workout so excelent point .
