keeping your arms straitgh during the lateral lifts with heavy weight can screw your joints though…

cheers i think i am going to just do some weight training for a few months to get my muscles bigger then just otne them and get as much cimpact muscle as i can

  • Gachinto

The bigger your muscle, the more power you have, the more mass you move, the slower you are. Bruce Lee said the first half, not sure if he said the other half or something similar, but basically you can NEVER get the best gotta both world.

I would say it depends on your weight class: if you are feather weight and focus on points, speed should be good; vice versa pack a lot of muscles for KO punches in heavy weight.

BUT on top of that, muscle provide for more than attacks, but defense as well.

i bodybuild and have to say that what he says does makes a lot of sense and im actually looking forward to doing this exercise on my next shoulder day..cant wait for the good shoulder pump

  • mrswolls

yes you can. since your joints hurt it would be my best advice to use very light weight and do somewhat of a slow movement upwards of 15-20 reps. just go for the burn until you get a good pump. dont go heavy..shoulders usually respond well to high reps, they are somewhat of a small muscle so dont take much

  • livermurf

no unfortunately but try using both arms and going super light on the weight ..thats ur best bet :)
